Friendly proprietor, good breakfast
Room very small, 3rd floor, narrow stairs, no lift, long wait for hot water to come into shower
Poor cleanliness of the room. Paint on most surfaces, inc curtains, bedding and tv. Mould in the fridge. Very cold draft from the window. None working radiator. No hot running water in the 'en-suite'. Door handle fell of when closing the door to the 'en-suite' leaving person locked inside. Litter left in the drawer of the bedside cabinet.
It is a very basic hotel, but it served our purpose, for a fair price.
The room was rather shabby, and I wondered how well it had been cleaned. The empty shampoo sachets of the previous guest were still in the shower. And the fridge smelled.
The location only.
The breakfast was really poor. The Ham that was served was yellow, like a month in the fridge. We just had juice and 2 slices of bread. The bathroom was very dirty.
Our room had a sea view which was excellent, and there was plenty to eat for breakfast. There is also a restaurant for other meals which we did not use and there is alounge and also a bar.
Was fit for purpose as we were attending an event across the road
Bathrooms were a little grotty and the eating area was on a par. Stale bread out for breakfast, food poor
the friendliness of staff were excellent and extremily accomodating
room was not of the good quality we expected and there was no Bible in the room.
the only good thing in my opinion was,er,er, sorry i can't think of anything.
see above. this hotel has nothing going for it at all. it needs a complete make-over.
Room not as booked, had to ask to be moved. Replacement room was tiny even though a triple. There was blood on the walls, hole in bathroom door and generally unclean. Worst place I have ever stayed. Paid £96 per night for triple room, worth about £20
The staff were very helpful and friendly ,was as expected for price we paid would stay there again as staff were very good
Small rooms and basic but expected that
Cleanliness, small rooms, over priced, not wind proof cold air entering through closed windows,
It was close to the event that I was partaking in
breakfast was supposed to be served from 0730. I waited around until 0750 and there was no one around so I had to miss breakfast all together. I actaully went into teh kitchen looking for staff to no avail and scrap food lying about and a very dirty kitchen that put me off even if there had been staff around.
The view from the window.
Scruffy. Small room. Beds not made after first night. No hot water in evening.
Absolutely nothing it was a rancid dirty stinking hovel not fit for animals . I really could not believe the condition of the hotel and room.
Family run hotel, extremely polite, friendly and ameniable staff, with lovely sea views.
Good views of the coast
